The Literary Club, 'Wings of Literature', was begun with the objective of encouraging and enhancing the literary abilities of the members. .

It has the following Agenda:

Each meeting inaugurates an innovative idea, latest book or showcases a video on a person, place, thing followed by a Group discussion on it or the introduces a book/topic chosen by the groups; if the latter is chosen, then the former is taken up in the following meetings. A specific Grammar exercise, game, puzzle (VI-VII) or a prepared written exercise like conversation, role play, skit or dramatic presentation of values learnt from a book or imaginative changing of a story from the syllabus – either extending the story with a new conclusion or re-writing the story as said by another character of the story; to teach Narrative techniques. A talk or speech on any socially or morally important matter/topic e.g. “I would consider myself useful when ……”, “My society is important to me because…….”, “Violence is not productive because…….”, “Friends are friends only when……..”, e.t.c. A 5-10 minutes session on Pronunciation is an integral part chosen in the alphabetical order – home assignment is also given. Any suggestion presented by the students is taken up as an activity, upon the discretion of the teacher. All group activities are strictly time bound. All Wings are instructed to collect written efforts of the members in sheets-later to be spiral bound as journals and kept in the Archives of the school Library. The WOLC aims start its own Circulating Library, gradually, led by the student leaders. Each Wing will present a short program within the academic year.
